Trofeo Gargnano Returns to Navazzo: Brescian Spiedo Race Set for August 29

The 6th edition of the Trofeo Gargnano – “Spiedo Bresciano” competition will take place on Saturday, 29 August, starting at 7:00 pm at the Parrocchiale Sports Ground in Navazzo di Gargnano. The event is organized by Pro Loco Gargnano APS with the Municipality of Gargnano, through the Sports, Tourism and Commerce office.

The competition is designed to highlight spiedo, one of the most representative dishes of Brescian cuisine, and to bring together residents, visitors and fans of traditional food. The evening will also feature local music and gastronomy, with organizers describing spiedo as more than a dish—linked to local culture and shared community traditions.

Free parking will be available for guests in via Monsignor Giacomo Tavernini, near the helicopter rescue area, a short distance from the sports ground. More information is available on the website of the Tourist Information Office and Pro Loco Gargnano.
