The autumn calendar continues with I Giorni del Miele in Lazise, as the 47th edition of the national beekeeping fair occupies the historic Scaliger village from October 1 to 4, 2026.
The extensive exhibition operates daily from 10:00 to 20:00, gathering apiarists and honey producers from across the Italian peninsula to present raw honey, royal jelly, pollen, and natural hive derivatives directly to the public.
Producer Stands and the Golden Bee Award
The primary exhibition itinerary winds through Lungolago Marconi and Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II. The Dogana Veneta, the historic Venetian customs house situated in Piazzetta A. Partenio, serves as a central venue for the event’s institutional programming.
A focal point of the fair is the national competition “Premio Città di Lazise – L’Ape d’Oro” (Golden Bee Award), which evaluates the finest Italian honey production across specific categories including monofloral, spring and summer polyfloral, and honeydew. The final assessment takes place on Sunday, October 4, during a dedicated symposium on health and wellness.
Seminars and Educational Apiary in Lazise
The three-day schedule features free public seminars addressing shifting environmental ecosystems, bee health, modern apiculture techniques, and apitherapy, guided by veterinary researchers and agricultural experts.
At Parco Prà del Principe, an educational apiary allows visitors to safely observe hive dynamics, complemented by free workshops tailored for children. Access to all exhibition areas within the historic center remains free of charge throughout the duration of the festival.
