The Paesaggio Garda Festival continues this weekend on October 3 and 4, focusing on environmental awareness, culture, and sustainability, while marking the 800th anniversary of Saint Francis of Assisi’s death.
Cultural Talks at Slow Gargnano
On Saturday, October 3, the festival joins the Slow Gargnano event in the town center. At 5:00 PM, Palazzo Feltrinelli hosts a public talk on the relevance of Saint Francis’s message, organized in collaboration with the Terre e Sapori association.
Environmental Action in San Felice del Benaco
On Sunday, October 4, from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM, San Felice del Benaco hosts “Per un pugno di mozziconi” (For a fistful of cigarette butts). This community initiative is promoted by the local municipality alongside Plastic Free, Erion Care, and the festival organization. The event focuses on collecting discarded cigarette butts to raise awareness about sustainable behaviors and environmental protection across the Lake Garda communities.
