The Metamorphosis Exhibition in Toscolano Maderno opens on Saturday, October 3 at 5:00 PM at the local library and runs until October 17. The exhibition brings together the works of Brescian artists Anita Treccani, also known as Red Fox, and Milena Bini. The display explores the theme of physical transformation, featuring hybrid forms that blend human, animal, and natural elements through illustration, sculpture, and jewelry.
Techniques and Works on Display
Anita Treccani, trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Brescia, creates her pieces using etching and aquatint techniques, which extend into silver micro-sculptures. Milena Bini continues her artistic research, which she began in 2016, focusing on the apple motif transformed into ceramic and silver pieces.
The Connection to Vittoriale degli Italiani
One of Milena Bini’s exhibited works, accompanied by silver turtles, has been selected to join the permanent collection at the Vittoriale degli Italiani in Gardone Riviera, Gabriele D’Annunzio’s estate, architecture, and monumental heritage. This acquisition establishes a direct link between the contemporary exhibition and the historical cultural heritage of the Lake Garda territory.
