Toscolano Maderno hosts the Pedalata dell’Essenza (Essence Ride) on Sunday 25 October 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. The free bike ride is open to everyone and explores the nature, history, art and traditions of the town.
The meeting point is the Museo della Carta (Paper Museum), at Via Valle delle Cartiere 57/59, where the route of about ten kilometres begins.
The route
The ride passes through several places in the area, from the Roman Villa to the Botanical Garden, and from the lemon houses (limonaie) to the lakefront. The tour is dedicated to discovering the Ecomuseum.
The group will be led by Roberto Ferrari, a former professional cyclist and cycling tour guide with Ciclo Experience ASD, who will share the stories of the places along the way.

Participants must bring their own bicycle. Places are limited and booking is required by 24 October, by calling 333 9145132 or through Eventbrite.
