In anticipation of the holiday season, Navigazione Lago di Garda has announced special boat connections between Peschiera, Lazise, Bardolino, and Garda on the lower Veronese lake, as well as between Desenzano and Sirmione on the lower Brescia lake. These services have been designed to facilitate access to the enchanting Christmas markets and entertainment activities that characterize the festive period. The renewed agreement with the local administrations includes six round trips throughout the day for the Veronese locations, while the Brescia side will offer 16 daily trips from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
The special connections will be operational from December 20, 2024, to January 6, 2025, with the exception of December 25. Alessandro Acquafredda, head of the Navigazione Lago di Garda Operations, emphasized the importance of these services in reducing traffic and congestion in the surrounding areas, thereby enhancing local initiatives. Additionally, a special nighttime lighting of the boats at the main docking points on the lake is planned to create a unique festive atmosphere.
