In preparation for New Year’s Eve in Desenzano, the municipality has issued an ordinance to ensure the safety of public events. From 7:00 PM on December 31, 2024, until 6:00 AM on January 1, 2025, the sale and consumption of beverages in glass containers or cans will be prohibited in the Historic Center, including outdoor seating areas. This ban also extends to alcoholic and spirits, aiming to prevent accidents and ensure a safe environment for all participants.
Additionally, it will not be permitted to bring glass bottles, cans, blunt objects, or pyrotechnic materials into the event area. The municipality reminds everyone that lighting fires or using firecrackers in public places is prohibited, emphasizing the importance of safety during New Year’s celebrations.
