The contemporary exhibition “Anthropocene Collection,” set up at the MUSE in Trento, represents an important initiative that brings together science and environmental humanities. Running until January 19, the exhibition addresses current challenges related to the environmental crisis, exploring its social, economic, political, and ethical dimensions.

An Artistic Language to Understand the Anthropocene

In “Anthropocene Collection,” art becomes the medium through which the complexity of our geological epoch is interpreted. The exhibited works provide an emotional and visual synthesis of contemporary issues, stimulating deep reflections on ecological themes.

Selected Works and Innovative Project

The heart of the exhibition consists of works acquired through the PAC 2022-2023 – Plan for Contemporary Art and Italian Council IX calls. These creations have been developed within the framework of the project “We are the flood,” an experimental platform conceived by the artist Stefano Cagol. This project aims to support artists and creatives engaged in ecological transformation processes.

Anthropocene Dialogues: Interactive Meetings

A distinctive aspect of the exhibition is represented by the “Anthropocene Dialogues.” These are informal meetings where visitors and artists can interact directly. In this cultural salon, accompanied by a cup of tea, brief conversations on crucial topics are initiated with industry experts.
