This morning, January 4th, a new winter swim took place in Maderno, with members of the group “Those Who Swim All Year Round” gathering at 11:00 AM on the beach in front of the former equestrian center. In contrast to the New Year’s swim, which had seen the participation of as many as 115 people, this time only a handful of brave souls, led by Alido Cavazzoni, ventured into the icy waters.
The water temperature hovered around 10.5 degrees Celsius, providing a decidedly cold experience for the participants. Capturing the event was Mauro, the official photographer of the group, ready to document every moment of this quirky initiative. For those interested in experiencing the thrill of cold swimming, the next appointment is scheduled for next week, at the same place and time.
