A fire broke out during the night between January 16 and 17 in Tremosine, specifically in the district of Bassanega, rendering an apartment uninhabitable for two German residents. The alarm was raised around 1:30 AM, and the volunteer firefighters from Tremosine quickly responded, followed by colleagues from the Salò station and a team from Riva del Garda.
Initial investigations suggest that the fire may have been caused by the chimney, which ignited and destroyed the roof of the building, the attic, and the floor below. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries among the owners, but by the end of the firefighting operations, which concluded around 5 AM, the apartment was declared uninhabitable.
