Desenzano del Garda is preparing to host an extraordinary Carnival of the Hills, with events scheduled for February 22 and April 6, 2025. The first event will take place on Saturday, February 22, at 8:30 PM, featuring a nighttime parade along the lakeside, starting from Via Anelli. During this evening, the city will be transformed into an enchanted stage, thanks to the floats and masked groups, creating a magical atmosphere for all participants. The grand finale is set for Sunday, April 6, at 2:30 PM, when fifteen floats will animate the streets of Desenzano, accompanied by the music of Radio Studio Più.
The Tourism Councillor, Stefania Lorenzoni, emphasized the importance of this event for the seasonal diversification of tourism in the area, highlighting how the Carnival can attract visitors even during low seasons. Lorenzoni expressed pride in the city’s entry into the Carnival of the Hills circuit and thanked the event’s Coordination for their collaboration. Through these events, Desenzano del Garda aims to become a welcoming destination year-round, enhancing local traditions and actively involving the community.
