A welcoming ceremony was held on February 26 in Trento to greet 72 new Carabinieri assigned to Trentino. Provincial Commander Matteo Ederle and Brigadier General Stefano Paolucci welcomed the newcomers, along with the President of the Autonomous Province Maurizio Fugatti and other local authorities. During the event, Fugatti emphasized the unique characteristics of the territory, wishing the new Carabinieri a successful integration both professionally and socially, while reiterating the importance of security in Trentino and highlighting the collaboration with institutions and volunteers.
The attending authorities expressed confidence that the new Carabinieri would find a supportive environment in which to carry out their duties, given the respect that the Carabinieri enjoy among the local population. Additionally, the new members were encouraged to maintain humility and transparency in their professional relationships, thereby further strengthening the bond with the Trentino community.
