A motorcycle accident occurred today, March 4, 2025, just before noon in Lonato, in the province of Brescia, involving a 28-year-old motorcyclist and a truck. The incident took place on via Cassetta, near the border with Calcinato, during an overtaking attempt by the motorcyclist. The motorcycle skidded on the asphalt before colliding with the moving truck’s trailer.
Fortunately, the 27-year-old truck driver sustained only minor injuries and was initially assisted by a volunteer paramedic, before being treated by the Public Rescue of Calcinato and transported to Poliambulanza hospital in yellow code. Firefighters from Castiglione also responded to the scene to manage the situation. The relevant authorities are currently investigating the circumstances that led to the accident.
