The Blu Garda Trail has made its debut as a new route for advanced hiking, offering participants a unique mountaineering adventure. This trail, which stretches from Vobarno and connects existing paths with ancient sections that have been restored, provides breathtaking views of Lake Garda and the peaks of the Adamello Group. Hikers can face various challenges along the ridge of Monte Forametto, touching on strategic points such as the Passo del “buco del tedesco” and the summit of Le Marmere, before descending through an exhilarating gully with eight rope descents.
Promoted by Valsabbia Climbing and guided by the expertise of alpine guide Stefano Michelazzi, the Blu Garda Trail has been fully marked with gentian blue signage where necessary. For those wishing to experience this adventure in good company, the Alpine Guides of Alto Garda – Vallesabbia offer two-day crossing packages, with the option to add a third day on Monte Castello di Gaino for a camping experience immersed in nature. This new route represents a true opportunity for climbing and outdoor enthusiasts seeking thrilling adventures in the heart of the mountains.
