On March 8th, during the annual assembly, Stefano Loda was re-elected as president of the Fraglia Vela Desenzano for the 2025/2028 term, receiving unanimous support from the members. Alongside Loda, the board members Pier Acquaviva, Lorenzo Azzi, Aureliano Casuccio, Stefano Girelli, and Dyamila Scalvini were also confirmed. New members of the council include Alessandro Archetti, Alessandro Bocchio, Filippo Collia, Marco Franchi, and Mattia Polettini. Loda emphasized the successes achieved in recent years, including the sailing schools that engaged various age groups and the participation of 47 athletes in the competitive teams.
Under his presidency, social activities such as the summer social championship and the winter Cimento were held. Among the significant events was the 2024 University World Championship, which saw young sailors from 14 nations and 4 continents competing in the Gulf of Desenzano. Regattas such as the “Garda Maçç” and the “Gellaser” have sparked interest among racers even during colder temperatures.
