After a month and a half of closure for maintenance work, the Ponale Path will reopen on Saturday, ready to welcome back hiking enthusiasts and cyclists in the Garda Trentino. During this period, significant interventions were carried out, including the removal of debris from the rockfall nets, the repair of safety barriers, and the cleaning of the cycling and walking path. This trail, which runs high above the lake, is renowned for its breathtaking views and offers an unmissable experience for visitors to the area.
The Ponale Path is considered one of the most iconic routes around the lake, cherished by both locals and tourists. Its historical significance is enhanced by the presence of military remnants along the way, such as the Ponale Cut, an Austrian fortification dating back to 1860.
