On Sunday, April 13, 2025, Sirmione will become the stage for the TEENS Photo Marathon, a photography contest exclusively for young people under the age of 18. This event represents a new opportunity within the Sirmione Photography Award, inviting participants to express their creativity through the lens of a camera or smartphone.
Event Details
The event will take place in Piazza Carducci and will span four hours. Participants will tackle two distinct themes, competing to showcase their unique vision of the world around them. The TEENS Photo Marathon is organized in collaboration with New Free Photo and Fujifilm, who support this initiative aimed at highlighting young talent.
Prizes
The prizes are divided into two categories:
Category Up to 13 Years
- First Prize: a FUJIFILM MINI EVO camera
- Second Prize: a FUJIFILM LINK WIDE printer
- Third Prize: a hospitality experience in Sirmione
- Top Prize for Single Theme: a €100 voucher for photography equipment
Category 14-17 Years
- First Prize: a FUJIFILM X-M5 Kit camera with XC15-45mmF3.5-5.6 OIS PZ lens
- Second Prize: a FUJIFILM Instax WIDE Evo camera
- Third Prize: a hospitality experience in Sirmione
- Top Prize for Single Theme: a €100 voucher for photography equipment
An Opportunity to Express
Participants are encouraged to unleash their creativity and tell stories through images, capturing Lake Garda from new perspectives. This initiative not only provides an important platform for young artists but also offers a unique opportunity to experience a year-long photographic journey thanks to the Sirmione Award.
The event is held under the patronage of the Lombardy Region and major local institutions, including the Garda Community and the Consortium for Lake Garda Lombardy.
