Alandslide occurred in the early hours of today, Sunday, March 16, isolating the areas of Liano, Formaga, and Costa in the territory of Gargnano. According to the information provided by the municipality, the civil protection agency reported a landslide front exceeding 50 meters, but fortunately, there were no injuries. A site inspection by technicians is scheduled for tomorrow, Monday, March 17, to assess the situation and begin the removal of the landslide debris.
The municipality has assured that transportation services for students in primary and secondary schools will continue, thanks to the intervention of the Bertella company. Further details regarding the timeline for reopening the roads will be provided following the technical assessments.
