Last night, on March 21, in celebration of the World Poetry Day, the awards ceremony for the second edition of the poetry contest “Brescia Fabbrica Poesia” took place at the Sala dei Provveditori in Salò. The overall winner was Alessandro Rampini, a 30-year-old Italian teacher from Poncarale, who received a prize of 1,000 euros for his works, which the jury deemed modern and profound. The event, organized by the online newspapers of the Brescia Network, saw significant participation and was opened by Mayor Francesco Cagnini.

During the evening, the winners of the eight special sections were also awarded, including two students who tied for the quality of their poems. The jury emphasized that the contest represents an important initiative to promote literary culture in the Brescia area and to demonstrate that poetry continues to thrive even in the digital age. The awarded works were read by Maestro Roberto Maggi, contributing to making the event a vibrant celebration of local poetic creativity.
