A violent brawl occurred on March 16 in the Cinque Continenti neighborhood of Castiglione delle Stiviere, leading to three reports filed by the carabinieri with the Public Prosecutor’s Office for aggravated personal injury and dangerous throwing of objects. The individuals reported, three men of Moroccan descent aged between 27 and 37, were involved in an altercation with a group of Indian neighbors, which quickly escalated into a physical confrontation characterized by the throwing of stones.
The prompt intervention of the military and medical personnel was requested following an alert, as three individuals had sustained injuries. Among them, a 66-year-old man was transported in yellow code to the Poliambulanza hospital in Brescia via helicopter rescue, while two others were taken to the hospital with less severe injuries, and a woman, the wife of the most seriously injured man, received assistance in green code. Authorities are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the brawl and the violence between the ethnic groups involved in the incident.
