Spring blossoms in Sirmione with the installation of over 45,000 tulips, adorning the gardens of Viale Marconi, the Scaliger Castle, and Piazza Carducci. This event, part of the “Tulipanomania” project, promises to enchant both tourists and residents with a vibrant explosion of colors, making the city an unmissable attraction during the Easter holidays and spring long weekends. Among the varieties on display are Black Hero, Candy Frills, and Princess Irene, all selected to celebrate the natural beauty of the area.
Mayor Luisa Lavelli emphasized the importance of collaboration with Count Giuseppe Inga Sigurtà, renowned for his Parco Giardino in Valeggio sul Mincio and winner of the World Tulip Innovation Award 2024. This partnership has allowed for the renewal of the city’s green spaces, providing a fresh and colorful welcome to visitors. The Count shared his enthusiasm for the creation of the flowerbeds, highlighting his personal connection to Sirmione and hoping that many will take home unforgettable memories of this wonderful town.
