A theft of a Stihl chainsaw, valued at 750 euros, occurred at the green waste collection center of Alto Garda at the end of February. A citizen, while engaged in pruning operations, discovered that the professional tool, which had been placed on the ground, was missing. After unsuccessfully attempting to recover it, he reported the incident to the Arco carabinieri, initiating an investigation.
Through inspections and collected testimonies, the authorities were able to identify a suspect. Following a search of the alleged thief’s residence in the “Busa” area, ordered by the Rovereto Prosecutor’s Office, the chainsaw was found and returned to its rightful owner. The man has been reported in a state of freedom for the committed theft.
