A serious road accident occurred on the late afternoon of Saturday, March 29, on Via Quaderni in Valeggio sul Mincio, involving a car and a van. The collision, which took place around 5:30 PM, resulted in severe injuries to the van’s driver, a 42-year-old local resident, who was thrown from the vehicle. Emergency responders immediately arranged for a red-code urgent transport to Borgo Trento Hospital in Verona.
Following the accident, the carabinieri from Peschiera conducted investigations on the other driver involved, administering a breathalyzer test that returned a positive result. Investigations are currently underway to clarify the dynamics of the incident and the potential responsibilities of the drivers involved.
