The Bossoni Half Marathon achieved remarkable success with over 1,500 athletes at the starting line, including approximately 200 participants in the non-competitive event, during its twelfth edition held on Sunday. The event, which saw early registration closure by Gs Croce Verde under the direction of President Andrea Ferretti, took place in the central Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, where Mayor Laura Magli and Sports Councillor Mirko Colossi also gathered to show their support for the administration. This edition was dedicated to Franco Picco, a historic promoter of the event who passed away last year.
In the Orzi Ten race, Marco Fontana Granotto secured first place among men with a time of 31:03, followed by Riccardo Andreatta and Batel Abdellatif. In the women’s category, Federica Eterovich triumphed with a time of 36:16. As for the half marathon, Giacomo Marchesi crossed the finish line first in 1:10:16, while Elisabetta Manenti won among women with a time of 1:23:43. The event thus reaffirms its status as an important occasion in the national running scene, attracting enthusiasts and athletes from all over Italy.
