On Sunday, April 6th, Limone sul Garda will host the start of the Lakegarda Marathon 42, an event that will necessitate the closure of roads in the area. The Gardesana road, between Limone sul Garda and Riva del Garda, will be closed to traffic from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM to ensure the safe passage of the athletes. The pedestrian and cycling path will also be closed during the same hours, creating a secure route for participants.
The marathon features a 42 km course and a half marathon of 21 km that traverse Lombardia, Trentino, and Veneto, offering scenic views along the northern shore of the lake. The race will begin at 9 AM from the lakeside promenade in Limone, with athletes continuing towards Riva del Garda, Arco, and Torbole, before entering Veneto and reaching the finish line in Malcesine.
