A fire at the reception center in Castenedolo involved four individuals, prompting an emergency response from the fire department. The incident occurred on Via Matteotti, where flames broke out on the ground floor of the building managed by Emergency Transport. According to initial reports, the blaze may have been caused by a pot left unattended on the stove. Two teams of firefighters from Brescia and Salò arrived on the scene, supported by a ladder truck and a water tanker to extinguish the flames.
Among those involved, one person lowered themselves from a window using a rope, sustaining fractures during the fall, and was transported to the hospital in critical condition. The other three individuals, including three Pakistanis and a Nigerian aged between 18 and 40, jumped into a van that had stopped nearby and were taken to the hospital in stable condition. Fortunately, none of the individuals are reported to be in life-threatening danger. The firefighters managed to bring the fire under control, and the building has been declared uninhabitable and placed under seizure; the surrounding road was temporarily closed to ensure safety during the rescue operations.
