The Alto Garda and Ledro Community, in collaboration with local municipalities, the Municipal Police, the Province of Trento, and the Rovereto Civic Museum Foundation, has launched a free distribution of larvicide kits to combat the spread of the Asian tiger mosquito. Starting from Monday, April 14, and until supplies last, citizens can collect the kit at the Community headquarters located at via Rosmini 5/B in Riva del Garda, on the second floor. This initiative is aimed at private properties on a voluntary basis and will take place from Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 12 PM.
To obtain the kit, adult applicants must fill out a form providing their personal details and the location where the larvicide will be used, declaring that the collection pertains to a single household. Each kit includes ten tablets accompanied by an instruction sheet that should be followed carefully to ensure the proper use of the product.
