The long-anticipated moment for the reopening of the Strada della Forra is approaching, as revealed during a recent meeting held at the Broletto, which brought together representatives from the Municipality of Tremosine and technicians from the Province. Despite hopes for the passage to be restored by Easter, as initially outlined in the intervention schedule, we will have to wait until next Wednesday for official confirmation regarding the potential clearance.
In the meantime, asphalt work has already begun on the provincial road, following the blasting operations on the unstable rock outcrops and the stabilization of the tunnel affected by the landslide in December 2023. Further interventions are planned for next autumn, marking a significant step towards the complete restoration of traffic in the area.
