Desenzano del Garda, road accident: motorcycle-car collision on the ring road, three people hospitalized. This morning, Wednesday, April 30, a serious road accident occurred along Provincial Road 11, near San Martino d/b. The violent collision involved a car driven by a 58-year-old man and a motorcycle carrying a 46-year-old father and his 13-year-old daughter. According to initial reports, the accident was caused by a reckless overtaking maneuver.
As a result of the impact, three individuals were injured. The young passenger on the motorcycle sustained severe injuries to her lower limbs and was transported in yellow code by air ambulance to the Civil Hospital of Brescia; the father was also taken to the same hospital by ambulance under the same code. The driver of the car was admitted in yellow code to the hospital in Desenzano. Emergency responders and law enforcement arrived at the scene to conduct necessary investigations and manage traffic; the affected stretch of road was closed to ensure the safety of the operations, causing significant disruptions to traffic in the area.
