The Archeo Nature Park of Fiavè will host the series “ArcheoCinema in Palafitta”, which will take place over four events from May 16 to June 6. This initiative, promoted by the Archaeological Heritage Office of the Superintendency for Cultural Heritage and Activities of the Autonomous Province of Trento in collaboration with the RAM Film Festival and the Municipality of Fiavé, will center around the theme of archaeological heritage, focusing on stilt houses and life in lake contexts during the Bronze Age. The events will kick off on Friday, May 16 at 8:15 PM with the screening of the documentary “Memories of a Submerged World,” introduced by industry experts, and admission will be free.
The series will also include interactive workshops, such as the weaving workshop scheduled for May 25 following the screenings of the films “The Memory of a Thread” and “Arachne. It’s Not a Spider’s Tale.” The cycle will culminate on June 6 with the presentation of the film “The Girl from Egtved,” which explores one of the most significant discoveries of the Bronze Age. All meetings will be held at the Stilt House Museum in Fiavè, providing a unique opportunity to deepen the understanding of ancient alpine civilizations through the medium of cinema.
