The provincial road SP 9 “Gargnano-Valvestino-Magasa” will be closed on Tuesday, May 20, for road maintenance works. The affected section extends from km 10+500 to km 13+400, within the municipality of Gargnano, and requires interventions following the landslides that occurred on September 9, 2024. Although the roadway was temporarily restored at the beginning of the year, maintenance is now necessary in anticipation of the construction of the final road superstructure.
The definitive restoration works are scheduled to resume in the fall, while during the summer, a one-way alternating traffic system regulated by traffic lights will be maintained. The road will reopen at 8:00 AM the following day, Wednesday, May 21, thus ensuring the resumption of traffic after the intervention.
