Manerba del Garda, tourist suffers medical emergency by the lakeside: rescue efforts underway On the morning of Friday, May 16, a 48-year-old German tourist suffered a severe medical emergency while walking along the lakeside in Manerba del Garda, experiencing cardiac arrest. The incident occurred around noon and immediately prompted a response from emergency services: the alert was issued in red code, and volunteers from the Garda Volunteer Group arrived with an ambulance and a medical vehicle, assisted by the Coast Guard and Carabinieri from Salò.
Given the seriousness of the situation, air rescue was requested from Brescia to ensure a rapid transfer of the woman to the Spedali Civili. Thanks to the swift actions of the responders, the patient received life-saving first aid on-site before being transported to the hospital, where she is currently admitted under red code due to her critical condition.
