A serious road accident occurred today, Friday, May 23, in Maderno, when a 40-year-old man lost control of his car due to a sudden illness. The vehicle collided with a parked car along the Gardesana, which fortunately was empty at the time of the impact. The incident took place around 2:30 PM as the man was entering the Marinai d’Italia parking lot from the south.
Emergency services responded promptly within minutes: an ambulance from the Volontari del Garda arrived at the scene and transported the injured man to the sports field. The Brescia air rescue team also arrived, airlifting the man in critical condition to the Civile Hospital of Brescia for necessary treatment. The exact causes of the sudden illness are still under investigation.
