A new partnership agreement has been signed between Federalberghi Garda Veneto, which represents over 430 accommodation facilities in the area, and the “Marie Curie” Higher Education Institute in Garda and Bussolengo. This project aims to promote vocational training in tourism and bring young people closer to the world of work, creating professional profiles ready for the sector. Ivan De Beni, President of Federalberghi Garda Veneto, emphasized the importance of building synergies with schools to meet the needs of local businesses seeking qualified human resources.
The agreement also includes educational and cultural initiatives involving companies and professionals from the tourism sector, offering PCTO pathways and internships for students. School Principal Anastasia Zanoncelli highlighted how this collaboration will enable students to understand the connection between school and the local area, while Luigi Zermini, President of the Hoteliers’ Association, reiterated the importance of linking training pathways to local production realities. With this commitment, Federalberghi Garda Veneto aims to strengthen the human capital of the region and support the development of tourism on Lake Garda.
