The docufilm “Wings on Water” premiered on Tuesday, May 27, at the Sala della Musa in Villa Brunati, Desenzano del Garda, and tells the epic story of Marshal Francesco Agello’s achievement of the world speed record on a seaplane on October 23, 1934. This historic event, still unbeaten, featured the men of the High-Speed Division of the Royal Air Force and marks an important milestone in the adventure of Italian aviation. During the conference, the film’s trailer and the original soundtrack composed by Riccardo Enrico Anelli were presented.
The official premiere of “Wings on Water” will take place on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at the Vittoriale degli Italiani in Gardone Riviera, with the participation of President Giordano Bruno Guerri.
