On **June 4, 2025**, in Montichiari, there will be a meeting with **Professor Silvio Garattini**, president and founder of the Mario Negri IRCCS Institute for Pharmacological Research, aimed at raising awareness about issues related to **rare diseases**. The event, organized by the Rotary Club Montichiari in collaboration with Ambiente & Salute and various foundations, will take place at the Green Park Villa Boschetti Restaurant at **7:00 PM**. During the evening, Elena Travaini and Roberto Lachin will also speak, sharing their personal experiences regarding these conditions.
The meeting aims not only to increase awareness of the challenges posed by rare diseases but also to promote fundraising for research projects and therapy improvements. It will be an important opportunity to create a collaborative network among researchers, clinicians, and patient associations. At the end of the conference, a solidarity dinner will be held at a cost of 40 euros per person, with part of the proceeds going towards a research grant at the Rare Diseases Center of the Mario Negri Institute.
