The new Board of Directors of Garda Unico has been officially appointed in Riva del Garda, with Stefania Lorenzoni, president of the Garda Lombardia Consortium, at the helm for the next three years. The shareholders’ meeting also approved the 2024 budget and featured the participation of Silvio Rigatti and Paolo Artelio, presidents of Garda Dolomiti SpA and the Verona & Garda Destination Foundation, respectively. With over 26 million annual visitors, tourism in the lake region represents one of the main national tourist districts, drawn by the beauty of the landscape and the excellence of the tourism offerings.
Garda Unico has announced a strategic plan in collaboration with the tourism departments of the Veneto, Trentino, and Lombardy regions, aimed at promoting the area through institutional campaigns and participation in international trade fairs. Stefania Lorenzoni emphasized the importance of enhancing local excellence and the need for destagionalization of tourism offerings to increasingly establish Lake Garda as a destination appreciated on an international level. The renewed governance is thus preparing to revitalize the lake’s tourism promotion, focusing on the quality of its offerings and its unique natural and artistic beauties.
