On Sunday, June 15, the Ledro Sky – Senter dele Greste will take place, an important skyrunning sporting event now in its tenth edition, set against the breathtaking ridges surrounding Lake Ledro. The competition will start and finish in Mezzolago, featuring a 19-kilometer course with a positive elevation gain of 1,610 meters, passing some of the valley’s most iconic peaks. The event was announced on June 5 at the Best Ledro Camping, attended by Deputy Mayor Luca Zendri and other members of the local community, highlighting the significance of the event for the area.
The race is not just an athletic challenge; it also represents a celebration for the community, involving numerous volunteers and local associations. This year, in addition to national talents, international athletes will also participate, particularly from the Czech Republic. The Ledro Sky goes beyond promoting sports; it also conveys solidarity messages through collaborations with organizations like ADMO and creative projects with local schools. Registrations are open until June 13 at a cost of 40 euros.
