The Lombardia Foil Grand Prix 2025 concluded with great success at Univela Campione del Garda. This event marked the second Italian stage of the Italian Kitefoil and Wingfoil Championship, attracting top-level athletes from various countries. The ideal weather conditions, with gusts of wind reaching up to 20 knots, allowed for the smooth running of 18 races in the Kitefoil class and 16 in the Wingfoil class. Among the competition’s standout performers, Czech athlete Vojtech Koska triumphed in Kitefoil, while Italian Alessandro José Tomasi secured first place in Wingfoil.
The awards ceremony featured the participation of the Regional Tourism Assessor of Lombardy, Barbara Mazzali, who emphasized the strategic importance of the event in promoting sports tourism in the region. The Lombardia Foil Grand Prix not only showcased the athletes’ technical skills but also confirmed the lake as a global benchmark for water sports, thanks to the synergy between nature and athleticism that characterizes this enchanting location.
