On the morning of June 7, 2025, the Carabinieri of the Caprino Veronese Company arrested a 28-year-old Tunisian, who was already the subject of a precautionary custody order issued by the investigating judge of the Verona Court. The man is accused of being one of the four perpetrators of a robbery at a pizzeria that took place on May 15, during which, armed with iron rods and with their faces concealed, they violently attacked the owner of the establishment, threatening and injuring him to seize the cash, amounting to approximately 3,500 euros.
The investigations conducted by the Carabinieri led to the collection of significant evidence against the arrested individual, who, after the necessary formalities, was transferred to the Verona Prison. Efforts are ongoing to identify and capture the other accomplices involved in the criminal act.
