Chaotic traffic on the A4 between Brescia and Desenzano due to an accident characterized Thursday, June 12, when an incident occurred around 1 PM between the Brescia East and Desenzano exits. The accident, which took place in the municipality of Mazzano, involved three heavy vehicles heading towards Venice. Among the drivers, aged between 50 and 60, one was injured, necessitating their transport in yellow code to the Poliambulanza hospital in Brescia.
Traffic came to a complete standstill following the incident, forcing authorities to close the entire stretch of the highway and its associated exits for about two hours. The safety and removal operations for the crashed vehicles were managed by the Fire Brigade and law enforcement, while motorists faced significant disruptions along their route.
