Toscolano Maderno is preparing to celebrate the Blue Flag with an important clean-up initiative scheduled for Sunday, June 15, 2025, starting at 9:30 AM. The event, organized by the Evergreen Brescia association and Plastic Free Brescia, will take place on the beaches of the municipality, with participants gathering at the former equestrian field. During the activity, volunteers will be engaged in cleaning the beaches along the Zanardelli lakeside, the port area, and Piazza San Marco, as well as tidying up flowerbeds and grates adjacent to the lake. The organizers will provide all necessary materials for the clean-up.
This day will not only focus on environmental cleaning; at the end of the initiative, there will be food stalls and music to celebrate the recognition of the Blue Flag 2025 for Lido beach. The event aims to raise awareness about environmental protection and promote greater civic consciousness regarding littering, which poses a threat to the local ecosystem. Citizens are encouraged to participate, even wearing swimsuits to enjoy a refreshing dip after the clean-up.
