A horse became trapped at the bottom of a canal in Romarzollo, a district of Arco, on Sunday, June 15, prompting a swift response from the Arco Fire Brigade. The animal, clearly distressed and frightened, was unable to climb the bank of the watercourse. This situation led to the immediate notification of the volunteer team, which mobilized for the rescue.
Upon arriving on the scene with lifting equipment, the rescuers began operations by removing a concrete slab that was obstructing access to the stream. Once the necessary space was created, they carefully harnessed the horse to prevent any additional stress or injury to the animal. The rescue concluded successfully: the horse was brought back to dry land without serious consequences and was returned to its owners.
