A boat recovery operation took place in the late afternoon yesterday, Sunday, June 15, in the waters off Manerba del Garda, where five boaters were rescued after their 9-meter vessel ran aground on a shallow seabed near the Rocca. Thanks to a report from the Coast Guard of Salò, a patrol boat from the Guardia di Finanza quickly reached the distressed vessel, ensuring sailing safety in the area and preventing potential risks for the passengers.
After confirming that none of the five occupants – three men and two women – required medical assistance, the officers initiated a complex recovery operation, complicated by the presence of rocks. The vessel was freed from the shallow water and towed to safety, allowing the boaters to return to their home port without further issues.
