Withdrawn Licenses and a Supermarket Theft: A Weekend of Strict Controls in Valle Sabbia. A total of 12 licenses were revoked, primarily from motorcyclists caught engaging in dangerous maneuvers along State Road 237, with additional violations including 35 infractions for reckless overtaking. In Villanuova, a man was reported for driving without a license, while in Idro, a young man was stopped for driving under the influence with a blood alcohol content exceeding 1.00 g/l.
Additionally, in Villanuova, two individuals were caught attempting to leave a supermarket with food items worth 300 euros. After abandoning the stolen goods in their escape attempt, they were quickly identified and reported by law enforcement. Despite the increased surveillance and heavy traffic, the weekend concluded with only one recorded traffic accident in the area.
