A large-scale exercise will take place between Calcinato and Ponte San Marco on Saturday, June 21, starting at 9 AM and continuing until evening. The event, named “Care25,” is organized by the Public Rescue Group in collaboration with the Civil Protection and will involve numerous vehicles and personnel from the healthcare and emergency sectors. During the simulations, actors in makeup and damaged vehicles will be used to recreate realistic emergency scenarios, which will be beneficial for training personnel and testing the response of the rescue system.
The Municipality of Calcinato has urged citizens not to be alarmed by the presence of sirens or ambulances, emphasizing that these are merely simulations. Additionally, a warning has been issued regarding potential scams: individuals involved in the exercise are not authorized to ring doorbells or request donations. In the event of suspicious incidents, residents are advised not to open the door and to immediately contact the authorities.
