An accident occurred this afternoon on the A4 motorway, specifically between Brescia Est and Desenzano, causing significant traffic congestion in the direction of Milan. The incident took place around 3 PM and resulted in a queue extending approximately nine kilometers from the Peschiera exit. According to initial reports, a car lost control for reasons yet to be determined, crashing into the guardrail.
During the accident, a 55-year-old man sustained injuries, prompting a red code emergency response from medical personnel; fortunately, his condition is not particularly serious, and he is being admitted under yellow code at the Desenzano hospital.
