A multiple collision caused significant disruptions on the afternoon of Sunday, January 5, along the A4, specifically between the toll booths of Sommacampagna and Peschiera del Garda. Six vehicles were involved in the incident, which resulted in eight people being injured; fortunately, none of the injuries were serious. The injured individuals were transported to the hospitals in Peschiera and Villafranca for medical evaluations.
The accident generated considerable traffic jams and delays, paralyzing traffic until the evening as the removal of the damaged vehicles and restoration of safety were underway.
