A4 Incidents and Traffic: Disruptions Between Brescia and Sirmione

A collision between heavy vehicles caused significant disruptions on the A4 motorway heading towards Venice this morning around 9:30 AM. The incident occurred in the stretch between Brescia Est and Peschiera, specifically near Sirmione, leading to long queues and traffic slowdowns. Involved in the crash were a truck and an exceptional transport vehicle, with two individuals affected: a 59-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman, both fortunately reported to be without serious injuries according to information from AREU (Regional Emergency and Urgency Agency). Although the vehicles were removed during the morning, traffic experienced considerable repercussions, with queues extending up to 10 kilometers, including along the ring road.

In addition to the traffic incidents in Sirmione, other local news includes a structural collapse in the cemetery that resulted in the fall of two tombstones, the arrest of a 54-year-old man wanted internationally, and the upcoming opening of the new primary school “Benedetta Bianchi Porro.”
