Active Youth Project – Work Internships in Sirmione

The Municipality of Sirmione has launched the “Active Youth” project, which involves work internships for young residents of the area aged between 17 and 25, both students and unemployed individuals.

The internships have a maximum duration of three months, with a commitment of four hours per day, five days a week. During this period, young people will have the opportunity to carry out activities in local companies operating in the tourism-hospitality, electrical, urban hygiene, administrative, and many other sectors.

Companies interested in hosting participants can submit their application to join the project. This initiative represents an important opportunity for both young people looking to gain work experience and local businesses eager to provide practical training to future professionals.

Applications must be submitted by May 12, 2024. Admissions can be delivered directly to the Social Services Office or sent via email to the addresses provided:

For further information, please contact the Social Services Office at 030/9909115 or the Sirmione Youth Information Center at 3480323011.

This initiative offers young people the opportunity to acquire practical skills in the world of work and to familiarize themselves with local business realities. At the same time, local companies have the opportunity to contribute to the training of future professionals by offering them hands-on experience in the field.

The “Active Youth” project represents an important tool to promote the integration of young people into the labor market and to foster the economic development of the area.
